Using a Kinect camera, I scanned 3D models of my own facial expressions in order to generate a wireframe grid onto which I could build page layouts. Using this system, I told the real story of a disgruntled employee turned terrorist.
Herbie’s Rock Pile This is a rebranding of Herbie's Rock Pile, a small jewelry shop in Whittier, CA. The business distinguishes itself from other outlets by emphasizing the spiritual characteristics of their service and products. Acknowledging this, I developed a logo that captures the natural beauty and spirituality present in their jewelry.
I was commissioned by Biola University to design a vehicle wrap for the art department. I proposed three different patterns, each of which are colorful and abstract. I floated suminagashi ink rings in a bowl of water and digitized the results to create one of the vehicle wrap design compositions.
